Warming up the Present: The News Collection

Only about half of STICHWORT's collection of magazines (some are subscribed to, but most are donated) is in German: the rest are in different languages and come from more than 34 different countries. The magazine collection invites you to browse: to remember a story or check a detail, to transport strong images of women or to serve as objects of media-analytical work.... Organized alphabetically and catalogued according to subject and country, it is also a source of documentation of the women's movement, evidenced especially by the publications of women's groups. The databank enables even specialized searches for literature or the further assistance from the International Directory of Gay and Lesbian Periodicals.
